What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:

Disc shape. Similar in size to an airship. Lights shining through portholes round the edge all coloured. The main structure of the UFO was metallic.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

It hovered for about 30 seconds and then headed towards the direction of Japan across the sea. This took 28 seconds to disappear over the horizon.

The sky was clear , blue with no cloud.
