SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at Arkansas

It was a very clear night and I wanted to show a friend of mine the "lights" in the sky. We layed on a quilt on the ground on our backs and began to watch. She lived on a farm, in the country, no other lights around for miles, very secluded. At first, there were just thousands of very bright stars, and a few airplanes with flashing white lights in the far distant sky. Then, they began to move like they always do. One "star" shot across the sky and just stopped. I asked my friend did she see that? She said, "That was just a shooting star". But she could not explain how or why it stayed lit in the sky. We watched that same light and a few minutes later, it began to move again. This time slowly, we thought, then the light started getting bigger and brighter. I told her that it was coming towards the Earth. Then, smaller and dimmer, as it appeared to be rescending back into space. This caught her attention. As it stopped, again, in the sky, it began "twinkling" with flashes of green and red coming from it. Then, the second one, a different one, began to move. They would "shoot" across the sky and then just stop and sit there. Then, another, then another. By this time it was around 3 A.M., and they all started to move, we could not keep track of how many different ones were moving in the sky. They appeared to be "playing", as two or three of them would maneuver together, then shoot in totally different directions across the sky. We were still seeing airplanes with their white flashing lights moving at what appeared to be a snail's pace in comparison. So, we did have something to compare their speed to. We were so engrossed in watching this amount of activity going on up there, we lost track of time. As we noticed the blackness of the sky beginning to lighten, we realized that we had layed there all night, in what seemed to be, maybe, an hour at the most. As we watched them shoot off into the distance one by one, we did not want the "show" to end. It was an amazing experience, as we began gathering our things and discussing this awesome experience, I looked back up and noticed that one had stayed in the sky, fairly low, I might add. We could see that as the sun began to shine a little, that the "light" was beginning to appear sivery, metallic. We could see it really well at this time and it began to move. It was flying low! We could see it REALLY good! It was saucer shaped and the sun was reflecting off of it. We watched it as came towards us and then made a huge circle around us. We ran to see it better as we found ourselves running around the back of the house to not lose sight of it. I was ecstatic, yelling "Do you see that?!! Do you see that?!!" "Oh, my God!! Look at it, it looks metallic!!" And in a flash it shot into the sky and vanished.
