CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
First it looked like a falling star, except for it was brighter than others I've seen and there were red colors as if it were on fire. It was falling fast -- then it stopped and it hovered in the sky. It was a bright light with lights on either side of it that blinked on and off and appeared to be a green color.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
As I said above, it appeared to be falling (crashing?), then it hovered...I never saw it disappear. I was on the cell phone explaining what I saw to my husband while driving. I must have looked away from the sky and it disappeared.
Any additional comments:
Could have been a satellite burning up in the atmosphere, but what baffled me was how it seemed to be falling, then it hovered -- and what were the blinking green lights all about?
