CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
white starlike pinpoints of light...much higher in altitude than commercial jets coming from La Guardia Airport (one bright light...the equivalent of a 1st magnigude star...and several much dimmer pinpoints spread out over the same general area of the sky
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
very rapid darting motions...one pair criscrossed one another...clearly not atmospheric turbulance, clearly not jet aircraft, satellites (i've seen them), meteors or helicopters...much too high in altitude
Any additional comments:
my wife and i both witnessed these and observed for approx. 1 hour. the motions of these ufo's was intermittent...small movement (darting motions, retrograde motions, etc.) within a very limited area of the sky...wouldn't be discernable as anything other than a star...but closer observation revealed darting motion (across arcs of sky approx 5 degrees or more...again, this wasn't atmosperic turbulance...the position of the light changed rapidly when darting and, given that altitude, must have covered considerable distance. two of the pinpoints of light crossed paths and moved out of the area.
