SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at Canon AFB, NM (Near Clovis)

For approx. 5 min., I observed two round - classical UFO shapes: Two saucers, one inverted upon the other. Each disc had a perimiter of multi-colored lights which appeared to rotate at varying speeds. (There seemed to be a corrolation between the increase in "rotation" of the lights and the object moving. Perhaps tied somehow to the propulsion?)

They hovered over Canon AFB, then moved. Velocity appeared to be instantaneous - no accel/decel. At the top rotational speed, these lights merged/morphed into what for an instant looked like a single, white ring. It then became a brilliant ball of white light, streaking towards the horizon. It took a heading of South from about 1/4 mi. WSW from me, at an est. altitude of 200 ft., to beyond visual in approx. 0.5 sec... on a clear night. That requires some pretty heavy velocities - do the math.

Simultaneously, high-power lines began raining huge blue balls of electrical arc. There was a blackout on that side of town reported in the Clovis newspaper.

My experiences took place over a period of about one week, culminating in an actual sighting, described above. My observations concurred with the descriptions I was given by over 10 people. One family of 5 spent their evening on their back porch watching silver discs hovering over the rangeland behind their house.

More importantly, I believe I encountered a member of a "black ops" group, a "Captain Kowalski". I also am convinced that their mission is to silence (military) personnel who have had UFO encounters.

Days prior to my sighting, we hot-scrambled (the real deal - live ordinance - this is not a drill) two F-111Ds after "bogeys" were reported by our radar installation. (We had a lot of nukes on base and were a bit touchy about such airspace incursions.) One of the Sargeants on-duty knew the radar operator and we spoke with him by phone. He confirmed bogey status and was completely bewildered by what he observed on his scope.

I called back to the "radar shack" after my shift ended and was verbally assaulted by a "Capt. Kowalski". He threatened me both physically and with imprisonment if I so much as breathed a word of this to anyone. He also denied we scrambled any aircraft despite the the fact that I saw them take off. He also said I would be watched and they would know. It scared me so badly that for days I would not mention a word of it to anyone.

My conclusions from the content of our "conversation" is that he was definately not USAF and probably not military at all. After several days, I attempted to locate this Captain. No one at Canon AFB by that name and rank. I checked with the Comms Squadron (radar folks), Security Police for recently transfered listings to no avail. Also, the radar operator we spoke with had suddenly received TDY orders and no one could tell me where he was sent.
