What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
A large chevron shape of red twinkling lights slowly moving across the sky. It made no sound and you could not see a mass behind the lights.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It moved very slowly.
Any additional comments:
Where I saw the object is in the flight pattern of LA International Airport. The planes fly in a east to west or west to east pattern. This object was moving in a north to south pattern.
