SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at Provo, Utah

The object was quite high in a dark but clear starlit sky. I was at the drive-in movies but was quite bored with the movie so I was watching the stars as I oftimes do... I still do and its been 12 years since the sighting. There were three lights almost like the points of a triangle although the object could have been round I don't know. All I saw were the lights. The lights were hard actually to differentiate from the stars but their precise movement caught my eye. When the object moved the lights would spin. It would spin in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. It could spin and then stop instantly, totally motionless. It made no sound. I wondered if I was really seeing what I was seeing. I thought it might have been someones weird remote control toy just to catch the eyes of people at the drive-in to make them think they were seeing a UFO... but the object was really high, it's movements were way too precise and (of course) it zoomed off way too fast to be anything "earthly".
