OFFICIAL RECORD
1995 Bariloche airliner sighting surfaces in Pentagon's seventh UAP file release
Newly released Pentagon PURSUE files describe a 1995 incident in which an Aerolineas Argentinas pilot approaching San Carlos de Bariloche reported an object with three lights, including a red centre light, flying parallel to his Boeing 727 before stopping, climbing vertically and disappearing towards the Andes. The files say the sighting was reportedly witnessed by another aircraft and air traffic controllers on the ground, and note that airport lights failed during the encounter. The Pentagon describes the case as notable for having multiple independent witnesses in the air and on the ground.

Two UFO sightings reported in southern Idaho over Halloween week
A witness near Heise Road in Ririe, Idaho, told the National UFO Reporting Center on 24 October that they saw a large, light-coloured object travelling at high speed from their vehicle, flying below 1,200 feet. Four days later, in the Boise area, a separate witness reported a triangular craft about 50 yards across with three distinct lights, moving southeast shortly after 8pm. Both reports remain open with NUFORC, and no explanation is offered for either sighting.
