Wyoming UFO investigator says he cannot explain rotating lights filmed over Gillette
Sommer Chase of Gillette, Wyoming, filmed three lights rotating in a triangular pattern over the town, the latest in a series of sightings she says date back to her childhood in North Dakota. Richard Beckwith, Wyoming state director for the Mutual UFO Network, reviewed the footage and told Cowboy State Daily: "I have no explanation at present for what the user recorded." Chase says she ruled out satellites and drones; Beckwith said most sightings his group investigates do eventually get conventional explanations, but around 5-10% remain unidentified.

British airline captain says he has seen unexplained lights on six or seven flights since 2022
Steve Frazer, a 48-year-old commercial airline captain from Sandbach, Cheshire, says he and colleagues have spotted mysterious flashing lights on six or seven night flights since 2022, most recently in October 2026, over Belgium, Lithuania and the Netherlands. He filmed a time-lapse of lights moving across the sky and says their speed and movement do not match military refuelling aircraft, which he initially suspected. "I've been flying 27 years commercially and it doesn't fit with anything I've seen previously," he said. No airline or aviation authority has commented, and Frazer says his own research found no definitive explanation.
