What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
I could not see a shape,just a white blinking light similar to an aircraft marker light.I was looking south out of my apartment window when I noticed what I believed was an aircraft.What got my attention that this single blinking light was east bound one moment then west bound...The object did this for apx. 2-3 minutes and disappeared behind a building that is two blocks from me.
The object was a distance that I can not determine due to the fact it was dark.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The object changed direction sudden several times

I believe that this was not an aircraft due to the fact it changed directions quickly and then was out of sight
