What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Triangle, Three points of light. We could not see any stars in the middle of the triangle.
It seemed pretty large in comparison to the satellites that we saw in the sky.
The satellites were brighter and moved a lot faster.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It just moved very slowly across the sky from the west moving towards the east in a uniformed manner with the points of light making a triangle. The lights looked like dim stars and they stayed at an equal distance from each other

neither my wife or myself have ever seen anything like this before.
I can still see it from our upstairs window and from the angle it now is to us the points of light look like a perfect triangle.
