white/ silver & red

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
appeared to be drifting on the wind between high clouds & faster moving lower clouds after approx 5 minutes went upward then appeared to be stationary then went upward again then went higher & higher looking like a bright star then dissapeared
Any additional comments:
both me and my son witnessed the object i don't beleive it was a balloon as it was much too windy for anyone to fly one it most definitly was not a plane or helicopter the only thing i could relate it to is a high alltitude balloon but because of the way it changed high and speed i would be inclined to rule that theory out i have contacted my local tv channel & a local radio station they are going to ask the public if they witnested the object as it was a very clear day
