SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at above the town of Madrid, Ia.

It was round and had five lights. As it moved across the sky, in a south to north direction, it was rotating, judging by the motion of the lights. I don't remember what direction (clockwise or counter). I have no way of judging how large it was because it was night and it could have been small and close or large and far away.

No. It was steady and purposeful. I don't remember how it left exactly, it was a long time ago. Perhaps I simply let it go on it's way without giving it too much thought.

This is all just as close as I can remember. I never wanted to report this till now. I don't know why. But at this point it has become vague and a bit blurry. It was a warm, clear night. The stars were bright. I was in my parents back yard, staring up at the sky as I often did. There it was, unmistakeable, undeniable, I stared in awe. After that I honestly don't remember. I beleive I was around eleven or so. I've never seen anything else since. I'd like to know if anyone else had a similar experience, it was around '86 I think. I will never forget that image, it's like a video tape in my head.
