like a double comet. Too slow for a meteor.

It was gradually setting but the tail changed direction.

Any additional comments:

We watched this object for over half an hour before it set. We took a series of photos. We wondered if it could be space debris breaking up. We would like to know what it was. No-one seems to be interested.
