What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
THe UFO was a flattened egg shape, wider than it was tall, silver, no lights. A very smooth shape. No idea of size as there was nothing to tell me how far away it was. At that age I was really into aircraft and there was nothing flying that looked like what I saw
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The UFO moved slowly across the sky, it did not appear to speed up or slow down. There was no noise.
Any additional comments:
I was out in the open sitting on a trailer at my uncles farm in Waverton. We were on a summer holiday but I have been unable to pinpoint year or exactly when this happened.
