CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
UFO was about the size and shape ofa second world war plane but without wings or tail rudder it was silver with a large red marking on te side like a cut off triangle , the object was very clear but the red marking was fuzzy around the edges
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
the object was flying in the opposite direction to the plane I was in and the speed of the object was twice as fast as an equivilent jet even faster than a jet fighter ( too quick for me to take a second look)
Any additional comments:
I have flown many times and have seen various other aircraft pass by but never one as fast or as strange as this. I am convinced it was not a balloon it was too fast and too high to be a model and if it was a rocket , then who was firing a rocket at a civil aicraft on a flight path to manchester?
