What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
It was South by South West of my location in Burbank California. It was a bright orange light in the sky -- it was VERY BRIGHT, brighter than any star or planet.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It remained motionless for about 45 seconds, then it began to drift North very slowly. It flickered, and bits of flaming material fell from it. Its brightness then changed dramatically, from dim to bright, then it stopped glowing all-together.
