all i could see was a light as it was night

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

i saw a light go over my house then i saw a plane when i seen this very bright light then the light went out as the plane came close then it came on then right of again then i see three planes in the area when cloud cover blocked my veiw
