CSIGHTING DETAILS

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:

One orange ball, followed by eight or nine others flying low, extremely rapidly from the Manchester direction, rising higher to a point I guess over the Rochdale area.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

One by one, the objects stopped and gathered into a FORMATION, then one by one their light diminished to zero, possibly as they gained height!?!?

Any additional comments:

I was out walking my dog and stopped outside a house on the corner indicated on the map of Grasmere Road, where the occupants were watching TV. I beckoned them to the window to witness the lights - WHICH THEY SAW ALSO.
