Bright Orange Lights,with a tail

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

The first one seemed to hoover for a minute or so, then zoomed off with the second one in pursuit

Any additional comments:

My son and his friend leapt out of the car with my partner and they video it on their mobile phones, both very excited at seeing these unexplained objects in the sky above Cardiff, they didnt really last long and we have heard nothing on the local news of any sightings over the City on New Years Eve 2008.
