What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:

about the size of a 747 , half moon shaped , purple in colour getting lighter towards the centre of craft

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

i got up early for work and was smoking a cigarette out of my kitchen window when i noticed this big purple object slowing down to a stop , it came from left to right , then after about 10 seconds it just dissapeared as if someone had flipped a switch , to my suprise just after it dissapeared 2 military aircraft flew past at high speed where the ufo had been

Any additional comments:

ive never realy been into the whole ufo thing , i dont do drugs im not mad but i know what i saw was no balloon etc , i just felt the need to tell somebody
