CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
A very large object burning, the flames were red, orange and yellow. I saw a shape through the flames but cannot quite describe it except to say that in between the flames i could see a dark greyish shape. This object was big.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It remained burning in the same position. I first thought it was an aircraft that had exploded and somehow did not hear it and then i waited for it to crash but it made no sound at all. It did move from side to side then the shape gradually changed and thinned out. The flames petered out slowly and it moved away far into the distance.
Any additional comments:
It has baffled me and my husband whom I called for him to look at it, he saw it midway through the event. I have not reported it until now and have never in my life seen anything like this before. My local newspaper the next evening did not feature an article about any sightings from local people so i have looked at a few websites on how to report this sighting and found yours.
