What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Two bright, orange circular lights appeared in the SE sky and passed overhead to the NE. There was no sound and they kept the same distance apart until one disappeared into some high cloud. The other gradually dimmed and disappeared. It was a clear night with some high clouds.
We are used to seeing planes overhead as we are close to London - this was definitely no plane or helicopter.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The two lights just moved at a steady speed across the sky.
Any additional comments:
My wife spotted the lights initially as we had just returned home after a visit to the Opera. It was so unusual that we called out a neighbour, his wife and two visitors of theirs to see. They agreed that it was unlikely to be a plane or helicopter. I would be very interested to know if anyone else saw and reported this sighting.
