What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
A very bright single light as a former airline pilotand living on a magor flight path to Bristol International Airport i can observe aircraft at any time but this was not an aircraft i have flown commercial aircraft for over 20 years it did not have any navigation lights,no anti collision lights,no engine noise.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The object observed was travelling in a north/south position at approx 1500-2000 feet at a rather slow speed i observed it until out of site and there was no tail fin light as on an aircraft it just out of site
