What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
It was a round object that had an orange glow sort of like a
supernova. In relation to other terrestrial objects it was
approximately the size of the moon. I'm unsure of the exact date
and time because it was so long ago. I do know that it was in the
summer because I wasn't in school and could stay up later.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The UFO didn't hover. It came streaking across the sky faster than
anything I ever saw before. It then slowed down and dove into the
ocean. While it was underwater, I could still see the orange glow.
I watched it for what seemed like hours, but I eventually went to
bed before the orange ball disappeared...but before leaving, I did
notice that it was starting to fade out.

Any additional comments:
It was too long ago and I was too young to remember how long I viewed
the UFO. All I can say is that it seemed like hours...probably 30
minutes or so, because being 8, I was suppose to have been in bed
before I even saw it.
