What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
A friend of mine and I were talking to another friend who was in his room talking to us from his second story bedroom window. when all of a sudden this jellyfish shaped(not solid looking) object started moving above his house(Less than 1 mph). It was about 10ft in diameter and it slowly flashed red,blue,green and yellow lights.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
When we noticed it, we started to wave trying to communicate with it, then it appeared to notice us. The flashing between the different color lights increased. Then the object seemed to change shape into a metalic like disk. It looked shiny and bright. When it appeared to be a disklike shape, it picked up speed very fast and made like a "Z" path in the sky and then disappeared.

Back in 1996 or so, I was watching one of those nightly news shows on ABC and the subject was about released documentation on Russian UFO sightings. This one story was about an UFO in 1977 that was about the size of a football field and appeared to be jellyfish shaped. It supposedly attacked a radar installation. When I saw this on tv I almost passed out. I couldn't believe it. Was what I saw a scout ship for this UFO? You be the judge.
