CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Oval shape, milky colour (translucent) with a bright orange light inside it at the bottom that moved around the bottom of the Oval object between where 4 oclock and 8 oclock would be on a clock face. Not sure about size as I couldn`t tell the height of it but it seemed to be fairly low, maybe a couple of hundred feet and if I`m right it probably was only a few feet in diameter at the most.
The thing was travelling from the direction of Barrow Church, over my house, over the Willow pub and disappeared in an Easterly direction in a totally straight line. I watched it for about 40 seconds and it didn`t deviate from that straight line at all.
I`m guessing that the distance it travelled in that 40 (ish) seconds I saw it was at about the speed of an average light aircraft. The thing that got me though was that it was silent, absolutely silent...no noise at all.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It just flew totally silently in a dead straight line.
Any additional comments:
I`m used to aircraft flying over my house but I`ve never seen anything like this and I`ve never seen anything fly so quietly.
