Former Pentagon UAP chief claims non-human craft and recovered bodies in new memoir
Jay Stratton, the first director of the Pentagon's Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, says in a new memoir and a Fox News interview that the US holds "craft of non-human origin" and that he personally witnessed an unexplained object during a US Navy submarine operation off the East Coast, with a P-3 aircraft collecting sensor data. He also says an unnamed source told him that a 1947 crash near Roswell left non-human bodies, some dead on arrival and others who "later perished, refusing food or contact". The Air Force maintains the 1947 debris came from the classified Project Mogul balloon programme, and no independent corroboration of the submarine encounter has been found. Stratton says his 293-page book, Out of the Shadows, was vetted by 21 government agencies before being cleared for release.

Apollo 16 astronaut Charlie Duke says UFOs are demonic deception
Charlie Duke, the youngest person to walk on the Moon during Apollo 16, has told CBN News that he believes UFOs are not alien craft but a demonic deception meant to draw people away from Christian faith, citing 2 Corinthians 11:14 on Satan disguising himself as "an angel of light". Duke, 91, says he was met with ridicule when he first raised the idea at Rotary Club talks, and describes a conversation with a friend that he took as divine confirmation of his view. He says he never witnessed a UFO during his space missions, attributing flashes of light he saw to cosmic particles rather than unexplained craft. Vice President JD Vance has made similar claims, and a Washington exorcist was removed from his post in June after linking UFO sightings to demonic activity.
