Swarm of colour-changing orbs reported over Idaho sand dunes
A witness near the St Anthony dunes in Fremont County, Idaho, has told the National UFO Reporting Center that they saw a swarm of white, orb-shaped objects manoeuvring at speed in random patterns on the night of 3 October. The witness said the objects changed colour, had no blinking lights of the kind seen on drones, and appeared to have a haze around them "as if to emit an energy of sorts". The report, filed with NUFORC as case 201418, offers no explanation for what was seen.

IDF floats balloon theory for unidentified object near Lebanese border
Israeli forces who scrambled jets and searched for an unidentified aerial object detected near Arab el-Aramsha in the Western Galilee on 10 October have still not confirmed what it was, four days on. The Israel Defense Forces say they have ruled out a powered paraglider or a conventional drone, and now believe it was "most likely a balloon or a similar device that achieved lift using hot air", though its purpose and origin remain unknown. Security analyst Yaakov Lappin said the object was hard to track and could have been "some sort of bag blowing in the wind". A GLZ Radio correspondent reported the IDF still does not know how to classify it.
